Dr. Madden has the training and experience to take care of all newborns and infants, including babies born with special health care needs. These include prematurity, birth defects, surgical conditions, genetic disorders, poor weight gain, feeding problems, and being unable to breastfeed. She is also a breastfeeding medicine specialist.

Dr. Madden’s services include in-home and video newborn medicine and lactation/breastfeeding visits through her private practice in NE Ohio, Primrose Newborn Care. “4th trimester” mother-baby packages are available upon request.

Dr. Madden has provided second opinions for NICU families throughout the world. She has also served as a neonatal-perinatal medicine expert and consultant for product developers and innovators, parent advocacy groups, start-ups, and legal cases.

Infant Feeding and Lactation

Dr. Madden supports all methods of infant feeding and offers individualized video infant feeding consultations for breast and bottle feeding families. All clients have free access to her “Baby Formula Guide” mobile app and infant formula database.
